一、職務內容

A. 職務名稱：Senior System Software Engineer

工作內容：

NEUCHIPS’s software team is seeking world-class system software engineers who will work on cooperating NEUCHIPS AI accelerator solutions in platforms with various scales:

RNNAccel, an ultra-low power and high energy efficiency Recurrent Neural Network Accelerator for edge voice, audio, and physiology processing/diagnostic applications.

RecAccel, the world 1st Deep Learning Recommendation System accelerator for eCommerce, Social Media, and also Data center.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You are responsible for introducing an AI accelerating system, easy for modern AI frameworks deployment. This position involves design and implementation of system software stack, evaluation and optimization of usability for modern AI frameworks usage, research and development of novel software technologies to utilize NEUCHIPS AI accelerators and minimization of system overhead. You are also defining dedicated interfaces deployed by high-level AI usage under intimate cooperation with driver engineers. 

Responsibilities

Work on the system design and development for AI accelerator solutions 

Implement and Maintain system software of AI accelerator solutions targeting at: 

The best performance in terms of throughput and cost 

Easy for modern AI frameworks to use 

Scalability to be applicable from edge to cloud 

Cross platform implementation 

Supporting on the current and upcoming Linux based platforms 

Supporting on the upcoming Windows based platforms 

Work with other internal worldwide teams (software, hardware, architecture, OEM support)

二、要求條件

Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering 

5 years "hands on" experience developing system software and architecture, especially for the Linux OS 

Strong programming skills in Python, C, and C++ 

Familiar with device driver models for Linux or Windows OS

Strong low-level operating system knowledge, specifically memory/resource management, scheduling and process control 

Preferred Qualifications

Experienced on Amazon AWS EC2 F1

Experienced on modern AI frameworks, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch

Strong English written and oral communication skills to interface with other engineers

Windows operating systems experience

工作內容：

NEUCHIPS’s software team is seeking world-class software engineers who will work on cooperating NEUCHIPS AI accelerator solutions in platforms with various scales:

RNNAccel, an ultra-low power and high energy efficiency Recurrent Neural Network Accelerator for edge voice, audio, and physiology processing/diagnostic applications.

RecAccel, the world 1st Deep Learning Recommendation System accelerator for eCommerce, Social Media, and also Data center.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. The senior driver engineer is responsible to design and develop driver solution for NEUCHIPS AI accelerators. This position involves maintenance of legacy drivers and platforms, exploration and development of novel software technologies to utilize NEUCHIPS AI accelerators in terms of performance and efficiency, evaluation and validation of new hardware features and other derivative hardware-software integration technique. You are also defining dedicated interfaces deployed by high-level AI usage under intimate cooperation with system software engineers.

二、要求條件

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Detailed knowledge of operating system and diverse device driver models

Strong low-level operating system knowledge, specifically memory/resource management, scheduling and process control

Strong English written and oral communication skills to interface with other engineers

Windows operating systems experience
