Technical Project Manager – Global

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for building, managing, and guiding teams of diverse resources (business analysts, developers, quality analysts, etc.) from different countries/time zones to deliver end-to-end software development services to our global clients.

LOCATION

Lake Forest, CA (Southern California)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with global sourcing recruiters and talent management personnel from different countries

to guide/participate in recruitment activities. Participate in technical interviews and support the

business unit in making hiring decisions.

• Work with offshore development centers/teams in China/India/Taiwan and the US/Canada

engineers to form global delivery teams.

• Participate in project meetings and client meetings to ensure on time project delivery and

identify new business opportunities.

• Support business development activities from technical perspectives.

• Work with account managers and business development managers in the US/Taiwan/China and

provide the required technical expertise.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related fields with 5+ years of relevant experience in software development/project management in cloud/web-based environments.

• Hands-on experience with developing enterprise software, defining software architecture /

strategy, and leading software development teams.

• Practical experience of lean and/or agile software development practices and methodologies.

• Experience with various cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Experience/knowledge of various front-end/back-end technology stacks (open source,Microsoft, etc.).

• Capable of learning new technologies quickly from structured/high level perspectives.

• Ability to perform technical interviews to build teams and engage with clients.

• Innovation and creativity –demonstrated willingness to understand innovative ideas and to apply new insights to existing situations.

• Strong sense of initiative and urgency – track record of self-starting, accomplishing tasks; improving current work processes, and assisting others to achieve goals.

• Communication – ability to communicate undefined concepts and ideas clearly and concisely.

• Results-oriented – strong track record in achieving results while identifying and eliminating inefficiencies.

• Self-motivated in learning – demonstrated interest in acquiring new knowledge and concepts.

• Available to work flexible hours to accommodate the time zones of our global clients and provide global delivery services.

• Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Fluent in Mandarin is a plus.
